Samsung’s next beast smartphone GALAXY NOTE 4 made a surprising appearance yesterday in the images obtained by GSMARENA. The four leaked photos depict that the upcoming smartphone will have its front resembling with its predecessor NOTE 3 whereas the back will have a new leather texture. Furthermore the sides will be different. The company has already announced to release two metallic body smartphones this year so we can expect NOTE 4 to have a metallic frame.

While the ‘S’ series being its mainstream flagship series, the ‘NOTE’ series target users who prefer larger display sizes and longer battery backup and is predominantly a phablet. The NOTE 4 will have a screen size of 5.7” just like the prior model and a resolution of 1440 X 2560 pixels. It will have 4 GB of RAM and Quad Core processor variations of 2.5 GHz and 1.3 GHz. The battery will be something definitely greater than 3000 mAH and of course the S pen will still be a part of the device. It can surely be expected to have finger-print scanner and heart rate monitor features as well.

Samsung fans are expecting the phone to be released on 3rd of September ahead of the IFA electronics event just as the GALAXY NOTE 3 was unveiled last year in an event before the IFA and it should be available on the shelves by 15th of September. The retail box for the phone has also made an appearance.

Samsung’s current flagship Galaxy S5 proved to be much unlucky for Samsung resulting in terrible second quarter results and a drop of 25 percent in profits as well as a warning that the rest of the year can also go weak for Samsung. Let’s see whether the NOTE 4 proves to be lucky for Samsung or not.
