Nine Suspended Teachers Restored On Court Orders By Kurram Political Admin

SADDA, 03 November: On the directives of the court, the political administration of Kurram agency has reinstated nine school teachers suspended by the authorities on charges of involvement in anti-state activities.

Assistant political agent Shahid Ali Khan said the teachers were suspended after allegations about their involvement in anti-state activities were surfaced. He however said the court ordered their reinstatement as the allegations could not be proved against them.

He informed that a notification regarding their restoration had also been issued by the Fata Secretariat.

Muhammad Altaf Bangash, one of these teachers told TNN that they had challenged their suspension in the court. “The court exonerated us from all the charges and ordered our restoration,” Bangash said.

He added that they would file a defamation case in the court against those who had leveled allegations against them and damaged their reputation in the society.

“The government should take actions against those who falsely implicated us. And those who are involved in anti-state activities should be hanged to death,” a beleaguered Bangash remarked.
