Microsoft has accidently posted their upcoming desktop OS Windows 9 teaser on its official Chinese account Weibo. Windows 8 was not happily taken by the user community as it should have been while being a Microsoft product but it seems that latest version of the OS is coming soon. The mistakenly posted logo was taken off the after a few minutes but cnbeta was able to take a screenshot before Microsoft had it removed.
The logo shows the well-known Windows tiles along with the version of the OS. The question on the top of the image when Google translated says that:
“Microsoft latest operating system Windows 9 was released, you guess, lower left corner of the start menu appears? ”
This is clearly an indication that the new version of the OS may be coming with the Start menu that had disappeared when Windows 8 first came to the scenery.
Microsoft is expected to release the Windows 9 technical preview by the end of this month for general public and the preview will have noticeable changes in user experience and other features. Microsoft also plans to have a new Start menu with Live tiles and removal of charm bar features. Cortana the popular windows phone featureis also expected to make its debut in the desktop version of the OS.
Well the logo appears to be just a mock-up of the original logo as depicted by the statement above it .
