Burhan Wani’s father condemns burning of schools in Valley, calls it ‘unacceptable’

Jammu: Muzaffar Wani, the father of slain Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani, on Wednesday condemned the burning of educational institutes in Jammu and Kashmir, saying it’s unacceptable.

“Schools are being burnt in Jammu and Kashmir from the past 10 days, and don’t know, who’s doing all this. We cannot blame anybody else. Who all are involved in this are doing wrong, they shouldn’t have burnt the schools. This is our property, Jammu and Kashmir’s property. This is wrong,” Muzaffar Wani said while speaking to ANI.

“It is not only about kids, it’s about the future of Kashmir as everybody is suffering here including the shopkeepers, workers, transporters. During the present scenario, we should think about everybody and we should get a solution for it,” Wani said.

Adding further that the Valley has seen unrest before in 2008 and in 2010 and is witnessing a similar worst situation again at present.
